We're Friends of the Lake
SHORE, LLC was founded by Polson, Montana, resident Wayne Schile in 2001. Since day one, he has been a leader and advocate for the businesses and residents that depend on the Lake's environmental and economic impact during the summer months.
For over two decades, the subject of the lake level has been top-of-mind for Wayne and many other reputable organizations that are watchdogs of the Lake's economic impacts and benefits.
In 2002, leading news was the same subjon of retaining our Lake level at full pool during the summer months.
Since then, we have experienced similar weather - yet our Lake level has never been this low.
Now is the time to ensure this never happens again - in the interest of everyone's best behalf.
Today, Wayne continues his leadership role as President of SHORE, LLC, which includes several groups of local businessmen and women who believe in the organization's Mission to keep Flathead Lake at full pool from June 15 - September 15.
With the professional efforts of leading citizens guiding SHORE's direction, they are collectively working hard to accomplish the
Mission and Goals in a timely manner.

Wayne Schile
Wayne Schile has an accomplished career in the newspaper business. Spanning over 40 years, he was the publisher of the Billings Gazette, Vice President of Lee Enterprises, publisher of the best-seller "Flathead Lake on My Mind" and has been an inspiration in the field of journalism. Wayne calls it a 'privilege" to have had the opportunity to raise a family in Montana and continues to enjoy views of the sunrise over the Lake from his home in Polson, Montana.
